Shipping & pickup

Montvale pickup

Pickup at Montvale Farm Stand is free. The basket shows the current pickup schedule before checkout. Please wait for the ready email before visiting, because placing an order does not mean it is ready immediately.

If you cannot collect an order as planned, contact Bergen Bee Company so we can arrange the next practical step.

USPS delivery

Eligible products can be shipped within the United States using USPS. Availability depends on the products, quantity, destination, and current shipping configuration shown in the basket.

The shipping charge is calculated before payment from the destination ZIP code, packed order weight, and box size. Carrier delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees. When tracking is available, it is included in the shipping update.

Customers are responsible for entering a complete delivery address. Contact us promptly if an address needs correction; changes may not be possible after the order has entered shipment.

Damage or delivery trouble

If an order arrives damaged, incomplete, or different from what was ordered, contact us promptly with the order number and clear photographs when possible. We will review the issue and arrange a replacement, refund, or other appropriate resolution.

Returns & refunds

Food and other consumable products cannot be returned after pickup or delivery for safety reasons. This does not limit help for products that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.

For unused non-food goods, contact us before returning anything. Return eligibility depends on the product and its condition, and an unapproved return may not be accepted.

To request a cancellation, contact us as soon as possible. We will cancel and refund an order when it has not progressed too far into preparation or shipment. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method; the bank or card provider controls when the credit appears.

Use the contact form and include the order number so we can locate the purchase.

Privacy

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to submit, such as your name, email address, message, location details, and optional swarm photographs. For purchases, Stripe collects payment information and may collect a name, phone number, billing details, and shipping address. Bergen Bee Company receives the order and fulfillment information needed to prepare, deliver, support, and refund the purchase, but card details do not pass through this website.

The website also uses browser storage to remember the selected theme and basket. The order-status page may temporarily store access information in the current browser session. Standard server logs may include technical details such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, and request time.

How information is used

Information is used to answer inquiries, identify swarm locations, process and fulfill orders, provide status updates, prevent abuse, maintain records, and operate the website. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party behavioral advertising.

Service providers and retention

Information may be shared with service providers only as needed to operate the site and fulfill a request, including Stripe, hosting and email providers, and shipping providers. Records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for service, accounting, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.

Your choices

You can clear the theme and basket through your browser storage settings. To ask about personal information, request a correction, or request deletion where applicable, use the contact form. This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13.

Terms of sale

Availability and order acceptance

Products are seasonal and may change or sell out. Adding an item to the basket does not reserve it. An order is accepted when payment is completed and a confirmation is issued. Bergen Bee Company may cancel and refund an order when an item is unavailable, pricing is clearly incorrect, fulfillment is unsafe or impractical, or fraud is suspected.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars. Applicable product, shipping, and tax charges are displayed before payment. Online card payments are processed securely by Stripe.

Product variation and proper use

Honey, pollen, beeswax, and other natural goods can vary in color, aroma, texture, and flavor from batch to batch. Product descriptions are general information, not medical advice. Customers are responsible for reviewing product details and using goods safely and as intended.

Website content and responsibility

Site text, branding, and original artwork belong to Bergen Bee Company or their respective owners and may not be republished commercially without permission. To the extent allowed by law, Bergen Bee Company is not responsible for indirect losses, carrier delays outside its control, or harm caused by misuse of a product.

Changes and questions

These policies may be updated as the store and fulfillment options change. The effective date above identifies the current version. New Jersey and applicable United States law govern these terms. Questions can be sent through the contact form.
